A calm, gallant pony, Monty, is a force to be reckoned with. He has a beautiful way of going, and amazing scope. He needs a steady leg (he can get quite behind the leg at times) and confidence (especially in front of the fence).

The ideal lessee is someone with experience. He needs someone who is steady, has a good position, and understands the fundamentals of dressage. The ideal lessee is clean and organized, or someone who understands the importance of good horsemanship (grooming the horse, checking for heat, bonding time, etc.)
