What is Horsify?
Horsify is an online platform where horse owners and grooms can find and meet each other in their own neighborhood. On our platform you are in control of your search; using filters you will find the matches that best suit your situation, in your own environment. Then connect with your favorite candidates, have introductory conversations on your own terms and decide who suits you best.
What makes Horsify unique?
Horsify is a reliable platform, intended to bring serious horse lovers together. The platform is ad-free and placing advertisements is free. We also do not charge any (mediation) costs for a match. We manually verify all users and work with a rating system. The users who respond to the ads on the website are paid members. These three aspects together mean that you can assume that you will receive responses from serious and verified horse lovers. As a result, the chance of a match is high.
Do I have costs when I use the platform?
Creating a profile and searching is completely free. Placing ads is also free. You can view and reply to received messages for free. Do you want to respond to posted ads from other users? Then you can become a member from 6,99 per month.
How do I know if the person who responded to my ad is trustworthy?
Horsify checks all personal profiles manually and does everything it can to maintain a reliable community. When you receive a message, you immediately get access to the extended profile and can read reviews about this person.

Profile

How do you verify users?
We check all personal profiles manually and check the profiles for fraud several times a day. Additional verifications include email, phone number, payment and reviews.
How can I remove messages?
When you reject another user via the automatic reject tool, the message is automatically deleted from your inbox. You can also delete messages in your account by clicking on the trash can.
When data is sent when I respond to an ad?
When you respond to ads, your profile will be sent containing your first name, contact details and reviews. Your email address and telephone number will be sent so that the recipient can respond to your message.
How can I delete my profile?
To delete your profile, go to Settings -> Delete Profile (at the very bottom). All data will then be irrevocably deleted. Please note, if you delete your profile, we cannot restore it. If you don't have time to be active, you can also temporarily deactivate placed ads.

Ads

How long will my ad be visible?
You decide this yourself. If your ad is no longer current, you can delete, deactivate or reserve it. It's important to keep the platform active. If you receive feedback from a user that you have not responded or if you have not read a received message after 72 hours, your ad will be automatically deactivated and will no longer be visible on the website. Your ad remains in 'My Ads', so you can easily activate it again at any time.
Why is my add suddenly no longer visible?
If your ad is deactivated, it is usually because two users have indicated that they have not received a response from you, or because you have not read your responses within 10 days. What does deactivated mode mean? If your ad is deactivated, your ad will not be visible in the search results. Other horse lovers cannot respond to your ad. Why does this happen? It is extremely disappointing for enthusiastic users when they send a message but receive no response or only receive a response very late. If you do not open your message within 10 days or if two users indicate that they have not received a response, our system will assume that you are no longer active on Horsify. To prevent even more users from being disappointed, the ad will be deactivated as a precaution. How do I make my ad active again? Activate your ad easily in your account. If you receive a message, reply to the message as quickly as possible, or easily reject the user using the automatic dismiss button. Rejected users cannot rate you and will still receive a response, so this will never affect your ratings or ad status.
How can I read responses on my ad?
You will receive an email when you have received a response. To be sure, also check your spam, in case the comments ended up there.
I have not received any responses yet, what should I do?
We are happy to think along with you. The more attractive the ad, the greater the chance of quick and appropriate responses. For example, consider choosing beautiful photos and clear text. We can promote your ad on social media, helping you reach thousands of potential matches. You can also boost it, and the matches in your area will also receive an email promoting your ad. Our experience shows that a small adjustment to your appeal in combination with promotion is often effective and quickly leads to nice responses.
The user who responded does not match what I am looking for. What should I do?
You can politely and anonymously reject users who do not meet your requirements via the automatic reject button in the profile. Select the reason and send the message. We will then send this user a friendly message stating the reason for the rejection. Received messages from rejected users are automatically deleted from your inbox. This gives you a better overview of potential matches. Always reject a user if you don't think it's a fit or if you've already found someone. As long as you don't send anything back, this user still has hope.
If I place an ad and receive responses, can I respond to them for free?
Of course! In this way, many users find a match free of charge. You only need a membership if you want to respond to posted ads from other users.
What does deactivating my ad mean?
This will set your ad to inactive and make it invisible. When you expect that you have found a suitable match, have received enough responses or no longer wish to receive responses for any other reason, you can deactivate your ad. Your ad will no longer be on the site, but will still be visible in your profile. When you want to place your call again, you can easily activate it again.

Membership

How can I cancel my membership?
You can easily cancel your membership digitally (via the My Membership page). You click on the 'Cancel membership' button and receive a confirmation email. You only have to click once to do this. You can cancel your membership at any time without notice.
Why does Horsify work with memberships?
By taking out a membership we ensure that owners and riders receive messages from serious and verified users. By charging a small fee we can offer a high-quality and ad-free platform. We do everything we can to provide a secure website and good service, which costs time and money. The payment is also a form of verification and therefore contributes to a reliable community.
Until when can I use my membership after cancellation?
Once you have cancelled your membership, you can use your membership until the end of the billing period. Example: You took out a bronze membership on September 3 and canceled it on September 20. In this case you can still use your membership until October 3.
